They turn out a great product, probably all underpaid for their great service , esp at drive up window!!!WOW, but also inside.My friend and I go there all the time and have been doing so for years, even when the moved from Grandview Ave to West 3rd Ave.They manage to pull off the in-between fast food and regular restaurant very well.

I come here for 2 reasons - more often than not to pick up my own online orders and secondly to pickup for Doordash customers. Not sure if the employees just hate Doordashers but they are always RUDE to me regardless of whether I am picking up my own order or someone else’s. I get it - your job sucks… so does mine. But that isn’t a reason to treat other people like garbage. Upper management should explain to them them that sometimes the delivery drivers are also paying customers.

I used to go to Panera with some regularity but slowly stopped going because a lot of the items seem microwaved and not fresh or high quality. I hadn't ordered ordered food from Panera in a couple years but saw they had new menu items so decided to give it another try. I ordered for me and my brothers and waited about 15 minutes for the food. The items appeared correct in the bag but when I got home and opened it my order was completely wrong and not something I like. I ordered a hot sandwich with chicken and was given a cold vegetarian sandwich. Oh, and they didn't offer me a receipt or put one in the bag either, so it would tough to get a refund or anything.

I placed an online order for a smoothie and one iced coffee with caramel syrup, which was denoted in the 'Customize' section of the website. When I picked up my order inside the ice coffee cup was empty so I stood around and asked if I was to get it myself, a staff member told me yes then walked away. I waited again and asked the same member where the ice coffee was and she showed me. I had no problem retrieving my coffee myself, it makes sense because you don't want the ice to melt, but there were no instructions or warning. There was also no caramel syrup to be found so I had to wait for the staff member again to ask for it, she said she would put it in a second cup and I said okay, no problem, thank you. She came back with actual caramel in a cup, I'm not familiar with Panera but I figured it would be the dissolvable syrup you find at other coffee joints. She informed me next time I need to identify when I order that I want caramel and they will have it in there beforehand. I asked if you do that in the customize section, she said yes, and I replied that I did do that. She told me okay, bye have a good day and I left. When I got back to my desk at work I attempted to whisk in the thick caramel all of which settled to the bottom of my coffee and stuck to my straw. None of this is a huge deal, I just wish I was provided with the traditional syrup flavoring instead of hard caramel.
